Where do the memories end and the things we are aware of begin? We seem to be aware of a world of things and stuff. Yet all of this is known to us only because of the memory structures that unconsciously impart content to consciousness. It is a strange and elusive situation. Luckily, Leibniz helps us get a handle on it.

Google’s Inceptionism: Cutting Through the Hype

News about recent Google research has made splash headlines around the internet. The Google researchers call the result “inceptionism” and there is all kind of hype about dreaming computers. Given the nature of PlaneTalk, I’d be remiss to not comment on this finding and try to offer a small voice of sanity (ironic, no?) amongst all the extravagant and somewhat silly information being bandied about.
